Open HHW Days at Gleason TS HHW Depot

Starting July 1st 2021, the Rutland County Solid Waste District’s Hazardous Waste Depot will be expanding its availability! The Depot located at 14 Gleason Road, will be open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7am until 2pm. We accept most hazardous waste materials, such as paints, thinners, acids, pesticides, aerosols, batteries, resigns, adhesives, fluorescent bulbs, etc. When dropping off material at the Hazardous Waste Depot please:

• Park in a Hazardous Waste parking spot;

• Stay in your vehicle until told otherwise by a RCSWD employee;

• Bring your 2021 RCSWD Permit with you;

• All materials to dispose of must be organized such that it can be placed upon a table in little time;

• Bring a form of identification with you; and

• Wear a mask when conversing with the RCSWD employee.

Please be advised: ALL BUSINESSES shall drop off hazardous waste by appointment only. Call 802-775-7209 or visit HHW program to schedule an appointment. 

Please Note: Any and all customers can make appointments for the Hazardous Waste Depot. Making an appointment may expedite your drop off experience.
