Board of Supervisors

The Rutland County Solid Waste District is a municipality and the Board of Supervisors generally operate under the same guidelines and state statutes similar to that of a town selectboard, pending any other differences that may be noted in the District’s own charter. Each Supervisor has a weighted vote on the Board.  The number of votes is based on a rate of one vote per 100 registered voters of that particular town. 

The Board regularly meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm via virtual meeting and/or at the District Office located at 1 Smith Road Rutland, VT 05701, (excludes the months of July and August).

RE:      2023 REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE

Rutland County Solid Waste Board of Supervisors 2023 regular scheduled meeting times.  The location of the meeting will be at Rutland City recreation building, or the Courcelle Building, at 16 N St Ext, Rutland, VT 05701. Virtual meeting details will be posted at www.rcswd.com and its social medial channels.

The RCSWD Board of Supervisors will generally meet the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm.  If this date occurs on a Federal or State Holiday, the meeting will be on the second Wednesday of the month.
