RCSWD is Seeking Safe, Affordable Housing for AmeriCorps Member

Rutland County Solid Waste District is excited to host an ECO AmeriCorps member who will serve as a Waste Material Planner to Rutland. To make their commitment easier, we are looking for leads on safe, affordable housing starting August 2021.
There is an alarming shortage of affordable housing in Rutland which exists as a significant barrier to entry for individuals wanting to come and serve in Rutland. By creating a network of safe, affordable housing for incoming ECO members to opt into, we can make a commitment to service in Rutland more realistic and attainable for all people. Anyone with the ability to extend available housing arrangements such as a spare room, in-law suite, etc is encouraged to reach out.
