61st Annual Rutland Halloween Parade

Event Date: Saturday, October 30, 2021 - 6:30pm to 7:30pm

You're invited to join 350 Rutland County and the Rutland County Solid Waste District in marching in the Rutland City Halloween Parade!

What: Our theme is composting. We will be dressing up as vegetables and some of us will be pushing wheelbarrows of dirt. Let us know if you need a costume!

When: Line-up is on Saturday October 30th at 5:30 pm. The parade starts at 6:30 pm.

Where: We haven't been given our spot in the parade yet. But you should plan on walking in to join us towards the end of Strongs Avenue, where it meets 7.

Candy: Unfortunately, we are not allowed to hand out candy during the parade thanks to COVID. But we are dropping candy off ahead of time with labels about the importance of composting. Parade organizers will make sure that the candy gets to the attendees.
