The RCSWD has teamed up with Planet Aid a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people of developing countries with clothes collection and recycling. The clothes they collect are resold to raise funds for development projects such as schools and health programs in Africa, Asia and Central America. Residents can donate clothes and shoes at the Recycling Center at the Rutland Gleason Road Transfer Station. Look for the bright yellow boxes. All clothes and shoes must be in bags.
